Being active and involved in sports my entire life, I was surprised when I left college 25 pounds heavier. Since one of my degrees was in Kinesiology (Physical Education), I thought I would have no problem getting into shape. After years of yoyo dieting and seeing small dismal results on my own, I decided to hire Dwain to help me trim the fat and build lean muscle. Since I have been working out with Dwain, I love the way my body looks! I have dropped the fat, added muscle tone, increased my cardiovascular endurance, and improved my self-image. Dwain not only provides the extra amount of encouragement and motivation that I need to push me to accomplish my goals, but he also has become one of my biggest support systems. Living with osteoarthritis, a hectic traveling work schedule, and poor eating habits allowed my weight to rise severely and my health to slowly deteriorate. Not to mention the emotional toll I carried after trying everything I knew to try and reverse my health issues. This was before GOD lead me to you Mr. St.Julian. Not only do I feel 150% better, but I've lost almost 40 pounds and I am continuing to go in the direction of the best shape of my life. I truly thought it was not possible after trying everything I thought I knew to do, until you encouraged, pushed, and educated me back to better health. Since I have started training with Dwain, I have noticed a gradual change in my physique. I have noticed my clothes starting to become loose. I address you not to tell about how much weight I lost with SAINT FITNESS, but how Dwain and SAINT FITNESS have changed me into the man I am today. "I've always been athletic, but after my college basketball career ended, I struggled to stay fit. Tipping the scales at nearly 220 pounds and squeezing into a size 16, I was not happy with what I saw looking back at me in the mirror, so I made a commitment to get fit again. I joined a gym, took up cycling and step aerobics and achieved some favorable results. I lost 18 pounds, dropped down to a size 14, but I was still not content with being a full-figured diva. That's when I decided that I needed help and I hired Dwain as my personal trainer. I began to see significant results within the first 2 weeks after working with Dwain: lost 8 pounds of fat (3% drop in body fat), gained lean muscle, lost 6 inches and a dress size (12). I am pleased to offer my comments on Dwain’s efforts in assisting in my recovery from a stroke. Dwain has worked with me on various machines. He has helped me understand the amount of my effort that would be required to make the improvements I sought while encouraging me to stretch the limits of capability.
Dwain designed a ‘way of eating’ that would allow me to have a variety of foods which encouraged me to stick with it in order to accomplish the weight loss needed. He reviews my meals and identifies my weak-spots to help keep me on track. Although the progress at recovery has been slow, Dwain has encouraged me by showing me the improvements that I have made.

When I first met Dwain I was very impressed with his knowledge and enthusiasm of taking care of your body. He told me this would not just be a workout with him. He was going to help me make life changes that I could use from now on to help keep healthy. I am 40 years old and not in bad shape but I did want to drop 10 pounds or so and firm up a few areas. We talked about what areas I was most unhappy with so we could hit them hard. Boy did we do that - When the workout and diet started
I saw results immediately. The people I work with noticed in about 2 weeks that my body was changing and wanted to know what I was doing. I told them working my butt off literally. I started showing interest in changing my body’s physical appearance and health when I graduated high school. I was eighteen years old and weighed 114 lbs. Basically, I was a shirt on a wire hanger. That summer of 2004, I enrolled in a three month program with Dwain St. Julian. I worked out three times a week. My goal was to gain MUSCLE mass, henceforth I would put on weight. I was placed on a repetitious diet that consisted of a mixture of food proteins, produce and starches. In addition, I drank supplemental meals each day. I will not lie, it was tough! On average, I gained 5 lbs. a week for the first month and a half. That was the jump start I was looking for. Eventually, three months came around and I weighed 148 lbs., gaining 34 lbs. of muscle. My bench press rose to 285 lbs. I am only 5ft. 8in. So at the end of my three months I, as well as others noticed a huge change in my physique. Not only could you notice the change with my shirt off, but what made a ‘BIG’ impression on me is that people noticed the difference with your shirt on as well. After a year and a half, I started working out with Dwain again once a week. Now, it is currently November of 2008 and I weigh 183 lbs. and can bench 315 lbs.
Overall, I have gained a total of 69 lbs. The reason I am even writing this testimonial is for the fact that not only was I guided, but I was taught how to change my body. The information I have learned over the years can be used for the rest of my life to stay physically fit. At the beginning, I was the student, one day I’ll be the teacher!

If you looking for a serious, no-nonsense fitness trainer, Mr. St.Julian would be my only recommendation. He's focused, consistent and well worth the money. Dwain is a knowledgeable trainer, incredible motivator and source of inspiration. Working out with Dwain and SAINT FITNSS has been a great experience! After only a few workouts, I began to notice results from not only weight loss, but overall greater confidence in the way I looked. I would also like to mention that the training had a couple of bonuses like flexible scheduling and a trainer who felt more like a friend. These things made me want to workout more than I ever wanted to before! The overall experience was great and I am definitely more confident.

It’s true what they say, you are never too old to learn. With a military background, I had an idea of what I was getting myself into when training with Dwain. His experience, client dedication, and second to none training was far more than what my expectations were. Within a month I could feel and see a difference. I reduced my body fat while increasing lean muscle and strength. Before we realized, I was leg pressing 1,000 pounds, bench pressing 250 pounds and curling over 100 pounds, keep in mind I’m only 5’1”. It has been a pleasure and wonderful experience training with Dwain. I now have a better understanding of weight training, proper eating, and health. Thanks Saint Fitness!!

I now know the truth, having a baby DOES change EVERYTHING! I began training with Dwain a year after I had my daughter. When I first began to train I was very overweight and I was very depressed. I had been thin most of my life and after I had my daughter I never thought that I would be able to get back into my pre-pregnancy clothes. Training with Dwain made me realize that not only was it possible to lose the weight, but that I could look and feel better than I had ever felt. He customized a meal plan for me that gave me the liberty to eat some of the foods that I enjoyed, but in moderation. He also taught me how and when to eat; I never felt hungry or deprived. His exercise regimen did wonders for my post baby body and within weeks, I had several people telling me how good I looked. In just a few short months, I not only lost my baby weight, but he helped me tone up and get muscle in places I never had before. Training with Dwain was a pleasure and he helped me build my confidence and self-esteem more than he will ever know!
